Description
Antique ladies' ring in 18-carat bicolour gold (yellow and white gold), set with a Verneuil ruby and 12 diamonds.
According to the gemmologist, the stone present is a rarity, being one of the earliest ruby syntheses. In addition, the stone contains an air inclusion.
Information: Verneuil syntheses have been patented since 1902. The stone has been gemmologically examined.
