A fine and extremely rare Rolex Oyster date chronograph with triple date calendar, also known as the Datora Calendar / Dato Compax "Jean-Claude Killy".

The three-part case is crafted in 18-carat yellow gold and features polished surfaces along with a bevelled bezel.

The silver champagne dial is fitted with applied, faceted baton and arrow indices in yellow gold. Three subsidiary dials serve the chronograph functions and the small seconds. On the outer edge, alongside the minute track, is a date display from 1 to 31, indicated by a blue arrow-tipped hand. Two windows show the day of the week and the month.

Yellow gold hands, a plexiglass crystal and a Rolex leather strap with original Rolex buckle complete the watch.

Rolex triple date chronographs of this era were produced from 1947 into the 1960s. According to the present description, only around 150 examples are said to have been made in yellow gold, rose gold and stainless steel.
